The Christopher Lukert Band was officially formed in early 2005. The core of the band Dennis Kennedy, Ray Lucero and Chris Lukert have been recently joined by Mark Lanus on saxes and flutes and Johnny McMonagle on keyboards to help them continue their vision of a band dedicated to growing as musicians and offering music that is not typically heard around the Valley.

  They wanted a band that would offer a variety of styles and originals to offer an eclectic mix to audiences. The band is mostly instrumental with some vocals for additional variety. Their hope is to bring another sophisticated musical flavor to the Valley scene. They are all veterans to the Arizona music scene and have cut their teeth on all styles of music and are now playing music they love.
